Our Approach

Images from our films

At Flexible Films, we treat every film project creatively as we believe all subjects and stories can be told in an interesting and engaging way. Our films are carefully structured, professionally made and visually stimulating.

We work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure their objectives are reached. We treat those being filmed with respect and sensitivity whilst also making sure all filming commitments and deadlines are met.

Because we are a small company, we pride ourselves on being easily accessible and flexible to our clients’ needs. We film, edit and produce making the whole process smooth, quick and cost effective. We differ from other companies as we de-mystify film, giving clients as much information as possible about the process, costs and resources. Some clients ask for a choice in the packages we offer and we cost these in detail, outlining the labour, expenses, tape stock etc.

Working the way you want

We treat each client differently, establishing needs, expectations and resources from the onset. We spend time at the beginning of each project discussing the main messages of the film project so that all aims and objectives are met on completion. We provide an intimate service and manage projects with care and attention to detail.

We put clients at the centre of the process. Some want to get really involved for example by working with us on ideas for questions and sequences, presenting, taking part in the editing and planning the schedule. Others prefer to talk through the objectives and see the film in its final stages. We are flexible and happy to take the preferred approach of the client. For all clients, we have a policy to respond to queries immediately when possible and if not, no later than 2 working days.

We treat those being filmed with respect and sensitivity whilst also making sure all filming commitments and deadlines are met. To date, we have met all our deadlines.

Regardless of how long each project takes, our commitment and interest remain constant. Each video we produce is crafted with style, care and attention to detail. As well as working on larger projects, we also have competitive daily rates and can work with specific budgets.

Our experience enables us to use our time efficiently in all stages of production. In meetings, we are focused, in filming we record specifically and in editing, we are confident and therefore quicker in telling the story.

Establishing Costs

Each film will be budgeted at the beginning of the project and is determined by the input and cost of production. Once a budget is agreed upon, it remains fixed unless there are unforeseen changes to the schedule. To date we have never gone over budget

We will organise duplications of DVDs etc with a professional duplications company.

Organisations can also have VHS/DVD covers designed and mass-produced.

Costing will be established before the commencement of the project.
